Post 4: Netiqutte

According to Dictionary.reference.com, the definition of  "Netiquette" is the informal code of behavior on the internet. It's important to use good netiquette because it shows that you're considerate of others that are also on the internet. Also it demonstrates that you are mature enough to be on the internet. Netiquette can be used while on social media websites, emailing someone else, posting a comment and while instant messaging someone. I honestly think that I use good netiquette when I'm on the internet and when I'm text messaging someone. I'm never rude to anyone unless they provoke me first, I use proper spelling, and I also try not to use abbreviations.

Post 3: Digital Footprint

A digital footprint is a trail of activity that a person has left by someone in the digital world. It's important to have a positive digital imprint so the futures employers can see. If one were to have a negative imprint, it can affect whether or not they can accepted for a job opportunity, school, etc. A negative imprint could be caused by the people who one interacts with in the digital world. A person can spark up a conflict in the internet by tagging you in inappropriate comments or photos that can seen by virtually anyone. I have searched my own digital footprint and have only found this blog. I noticed that there are so many people with my name. Moving on, if I had a negative Imprint I could filter the things I post onto websites like Facebook and this blog. One can improve their digital imprint by making a print release, creating an Ebook, and by making a Linked in account.
Some words and phrases that I have learned while making this post are:
Digital Footprint and Press Release

9-30-13 Learning Reflection

During the week that recently passed I created this blog. Learning how to make a blog could be useful for future things. I probably won't use this later on in my life as a career requirement but I could use this blog to document my experiences and progress of my life/career. It would be interesting to see later on in my life, my own personally thoughts and experiences. There isn't anything difficult about making blog, my only concern is if I could finish the assignments before the teacher grades this. I came to this class later so I have to catch up to all the assignments. Good luck to me.

Post 2: Academic Integrity

Plagiarism is when a person copies word for word or takes and idea of another person's idea. Academic integrity is when a student doesn't plagiarize someone else's work for a school assignment and keeps everything and their own original thought. After watching this video i have learned a few things. For example, I learned that citing a source that I didn't actually look at is also plagiarism. Also that no mare then 20% of the project/paper should be cited. I don't do that in the first place but it's still nice to know an actual number.

Post 1: Blogging

According to Dictionary.refrence.com, a blog is website containing the writers own experiences, observations, opinions etc. I have heard of blogs before and many of my friends have read them but I have never personally read on. Even though I don't read blogs i still think that they can be used to improve the learning process in the this class. for example, the blog can be used to collect ideas and other various things about this class and have them here so everyone can see how one personally views it. they can learn from it or just find it interesting. A blog can include pictures, videos, voice recordings, and various other multimedia things. Since i wasn't here during a few of the lessons, I am unable to list new vocabulary from that lesson.

These are four blogs that i personally find interesting. My favorite has to be the third blog down. This is my favorite blog because it feels more personal then the other three. I still enjoy reading the other three blogs but in this blog Esther shares her memories and experiences of going through boot camp and being a Marine. If it wasn't clear before, I am very interested in the Marine Corps and this is why I chose to search these blogs.   http://marines.dodlive.mil/2012/04/20/women-to-attend-infantry-training/
